HOTEL CARON DE BEAUMARCHAIS
I know, I know, this hotel doesn't look real, but I promise it is! I feel so lucky to have stumbled across this adorable Parisian hotel and even luckier that we got to stay here for two nights during our trip to Paris in October. It is everything you could ever dream of for your first trip to Paris. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the beds are comfortable, the location is perfect and the decor, oh the decor! The floral wallpaper and gorgeous chandelier had me sold without even looking at the prices ( the best part is, the hotel is really affordable).
The hotel is located in the Marais district which in my opinion is one of the best locations in Paris. Just steps outside of the front door of the hotel you will find adorable cafes and restaurants as well as some of the best shopping in the city. You are close to the metro stations and just a short walk from Notre Dame. The most incredible department store is only a half a block away and is definitely worth the visit (It's called Le BHV Marais if you want to look it up). The only downside is the size of the rooms. They are definitely small for American standards but are manageable. The hotel is family run, small and cozy. I swear it felt like we were the only guests the entire time.
They even serve breakfast in the world's most adorable breakfast room! It only costs around 15 euros and the food is delicious.
