SWEATER WEATHER

I'm FINALLY back after a week long trip to New Orleans and Seattle. Did you catch my NOLA photo diary here? I had such an amazing trip and loved experiencing the low country culture (the beignets, oh the beignets). Next up was a long weekend in Seattle. I had never been to Seattle before and was so surprised with how big the city was. It is such a gorgeous city with different vibes than cities here in NC. The air was fresh and crisp and I loved seeing the mountains surrounding the city, breathtaking! I have some exciting news regarding our trip out there that I can't wait to share, so make sure you check back later this week.

We are experiencing that Fall weather that is so typical in NC, cool mornings that fade into warm afternoons and cool down again in the evenings. It's this time of year that layering is so key! I am obsessed with this cozy cardigan from Madewell and can't seem to quit wearing it. It is the perfect layering piece and literally goes with everything. It was the perfect piece to throw on for a cool evening at my new favorite place in Chapel Hill. Have you ever been to the Honeysuckle Tea House? It is like a little slice of heaven right here in Chapel Hill. They have an amazing selection of teas that you can enjoy in the open air tea room while you take in the gorgeous views. Definitely one of my favorite little hidden treasures!
