FLYING OVER SEATTLE

Ben and I had one of the coolest experiences of our lives to date this past weekend! We flew over Seattle in a single engine, 4 seat plane with Cloud 9 Living. 

A few months back when we celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary, I surprised Ben with the "Learn To Fly" experience. Ben has always had a thing for planes and had been talking about giving flight school a shot. I knew this 45 minute flight where he could get a feel for flying would be a nice alternative to jumping right into getting his pilot's license.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day in typically rainy Seattle. Clear skies, light wind and lots of sunshine made for optimal conditions for our flight. Ben, along with the help of the FAA Certified instructor flew us over Lake Washington, Bellevue, Seattle and Elliott Bay before landing with Mt. Ranier in the distance. It was AMAZING!
