WHAT I PACKED FOR OUR CRUISE TO THE CARIBBEAN
After a whirlwind couple of weeks of traveling, I am back in Seattle and finally back to blogging. First up on my list of vacation re-caps is my Bahamas cruise.
Not sure what your experience with cruising is, but I definitely feel that most people either love or hate cruises, and I am obviously on the love side. With my family being dispersed all over the country, it can be hard to get us all together. Cruises are perfect because we can all just show up and enjoy. My brother just completed his service in the Army and was dying to go somewhere tropical. I am not one to turn down sunshine and decided to join him and my mom for a few days cruising the Bahamas and Key West.
We sailed on the Royal Caribbean ship, the Enchantment of the Seas, and it was a beautiful ship with lots to do and delicious food! Let me know if you want a full review of our ship or my recommendations for cruise lines. For now, onto the outfits. Packing for vacation can definitely be hard and overwhelming, but I say you can never have too many options. I am a notorious over-packer and I am definitely ok with it.
For this trip, I knew I would be spending lots of time in the sun and should bring lots of sun dresses and bikinis. I have totally embraced the high-waisted swimwear trend and find that it is one of my favorite styles to wear. Both of the high-waisted bikinis seen above are from one of my new favorite swimwear brands, Coco Rave. They make bra-sized swimwear that ensures a perfect fit and looks great on all women. There's nothing worse than an uncomfortable bikini, and all of Coco Rave's looks fit perfect and feel perfect. The all black suit I am wearing above is a classic ( I also have the same suit in white and love it), but the pop of color with the printed top is so fun.
