48 HOURS IN VANCOUVER: ROBSON STREET

Before making the big move to Seattle, I made a bucket list of places I wanted to visit in the Pacific North West and last weekend, I was able to check off one of those places. I spent the weekend in Vancouver, B.C. and I'm thrilled to be sharing my itinerary with you so that when you visit, you too can have an amazing weekend. Vancouver is an incredibly beautiful city with so much to offer and see that it can be overwhelming to decide what to do when you only have a weekend to visit. That's why I am keeping things simple today and giving you an itinerary for an amazing weekend where you won't even need your car. Robson Street is the ultimate Vancouver destination.

I recently had the opportunity to spend a weekend exploring this three block stretch right in the heart of the city. Robson Street is the perfect place to spend a weekend shopping, dining and pampering yourself, and when you leave you will feel like a true Vancouverite.

WHERE TO STAY:

Blue Horizon Hotel: The Blue Horizon Hotel is a gorgeous boutique hotel located right on Robson Street (can we talk about convenience). The hotel has some incredible amenities including an indoor pool, wi-fi, plush bathrobes and a delicious on-site restaurant. Each of these will attract you to the hotel and make your stay comfortable, but you will return for the easy access to Robson Street, amazing service and the breathtaking views. Every room in the Blue Horizon Hotel is a corner room with a balcony. My room was on the 27th floor, and I was spoiled with a jaw-dropping view of the city on one side and the water on the other.

WHERE TO EAT AND DRINK:

You can't come to Vancouver and not experience the delicious cuisine! Luckily, Robson Street has some of the most delicious food in the city.

CIN CIN RISTORANTE + BAR: After walking up the gorgeous flower-lined staircase and stepping into the  beautiful dining room, I felt like I was transported straight to Italy. We sat on the heated terrace overlooking the hustle and bustle of Robson Street feeling miles away. Cin Cin serves delicious wood-fired Italian cuisine with a modern twist. Every single thing that I ate was sinfully amazing. Order the Buffalo Mozzarella with Prosciutto and thank me later!

EARLS RESTAURANT: A great spot for delicious modern fare and amazing cocktails. I love that they pride themselves on using locally sourced ingredients that ensure the food is always fresh and tasty. The menu is huge, so take my advice and start with the Chili Chicken and Wontons, followed by the Creekstone Farms Top Sirloin and finish with the Peanut Butter Skillet Cookie.

JOE FORTES: A true Vancouver classic, I loved dining at Joe Fortes. We went for Saturday brunch and it definitely lived up to my expectations. They had a live pianist that provided lovely background music and the atmosphere was jovial. Mimosas and a delicious meal have me already planning my next visit. Word on the street is Joe Fortes is the perfect spot for a celebrity sighting.

LADURÉE BOUTIQUE AND TEA SALON: My first Ladurée experience could not have been more perfect thanks to the Robson Street location! Ladurée is everything I thought it would be and more. Robson Street is lucky enough to be the first Canadian location of the iconic French destination. Pastel colored macaroons line the shelves and delicious treats are served at the table. We came for lunch and ate and drank our weight in delicious treats. The french toast was out of this world and you need to try it!

WHERE TO SHOP:

The shopping, oh the shopping! There are SO many amazing shops on Robson Street that it would be impossible to cover them all, but I am going to highlight a few of my favorites.

RYU APPAREL: Looking for modern fitness apparel that will hold up in the elements and keep you looking stylish? RYU is the place for you. I am always on the hunt for new fitness gear that can take me from spin class to a lunch date. RYU has some incredible pieces that would fit perfectly in my closet.

SAJE WELLNESS: Featuring natural wellness products that include essential oils and skincare. Saje has a product to fit your every need and will help you feel beautiful the natural way. I am now hooked on their essential oils and diffuse my Tranquility oil every day.

KIEHLS: The perfect place to find a tailored skincare regimen! I loved learning about the perfect products for my particular type of skin. Per the staff's suggestion, I picked up a bottle of their Midnight Recovery Concentrate and have seen an immediate change in my skin. I am officially a Kiehls fan for life.

ARITZIA: You can't come to Canada and not shop at Aritizia. The Robson Street location is HUGE and will have you occupied for hours. All of the staff are so stylish and helpful and will have you leaving with an incredible look.

WHERE TO PAMPER YOURSELF:

What better time than a weekend getaway to give yourself a little pampering session! Robson Street has the best spots to make you look and feel beautiful!

SEPHORA: I have been a long time Sephora fan and do all of my makeup shopping there but had never tried one of their makeover services. I was seriously impressed with how gorgeous my look turned out and now have a line-up of products that I plan on purchasing. Receive your complimentary makeover today with a $50 purchase.

CIVELLO SALON & SPA: If you have been following me for a while, then you know that my hair is kind of my thing. I am very protective over it and often struggle to find people who can do it to my liking. The stylists at Civello (an Aveda Salon) took care of my beloved accessory and made me look and feel like a million bucks. I had an amazing neck massage before being whisked away to the shampoo station and finally the stylists chair. The stylist did an S-wave technique on my hair, and I LOVED the finished product.

Have you booked your plane ticket yet? Happy travels and Robson Street wanderings:)
