SEATTLE SIPS: GENERAL PORPOISE DONUTS

I know its technically Tuesday, but in lieu of the holiday yesterday I wanted to share a new #SeattleSips with you guys! Today's coffee shop is one of my favorite spots in all of Seattle. The  light and bright, filled with pink and awesome hangout spot, General Porpoise, is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle and definitely needs to be added to your list of coffee spots.

I went for a mid-morning treat with my girlfriend Haley of Me and Mr. Jones. General Porpoise is probably most well known for their filled donuts, but we went for the coffee and the atmosphere. Coffee shops in the Pacific North West tend to be a bit dark and moody, but General Porpoise is light and airy with lots of windows. In the summer's, the have retractable windows that they open all the way up and you can sit in the sunshine. If I lived a bit closer, I would spend lots of hours hanging out here!

My coffee recommendation is definitely an iced latte with one of their homemade syrups (so yummy). If you have a trip to Seattle planned this Summer definitely stop by General Porpoise, grab a donut and a cup of coffee and enjoy all the pink.
