HOTEL REVIEW | BELMOND CHARLESTON PLACE

Just last weekend, I felt like I was in a dreamland during my stay at the Belmond Charleston Place for a girls getaway weekend with three of my favorite blogger friends. I spent two fabulous days in Charleston, SC with Marianne of The M.A. Times, Holly of Make Today A Holly Day, and Shelby of Pretty In The Pines.

We were lucky enough to be able to stay at the most fabulous hotel in all of Charleston: the Belmond Charleston Place. Prior to our stay, I'd heard wonderful things about the hotel, and I can now attest that it is just as wonderful as you may have heard. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with impeccable service and a smile from everyone from the bellmen to the hosts at the front desk. Literally every staff member at the hotel treated us as if we were celebrities. I loved that they were so willing to offer recommendations for us for things to do and see during our stay.

Our gorgeous room was on the private Club level of the hotel that it is only accessible with a key card. The club level includes rooms on the top two levels of the hotel and features stunning views of gorgeous Charleston. All residents of the club level have unlimited access to the complimentary food and beverage stations. Yes, you read that right, UNLIMITED and FREE food and drinks. Start with the continental breakfast, drop in for tea, enjoy pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres and cocktails and finish the night with a slice of delicious cake. This was by far my favorite part of the hotel, and if Charleston wasn't so charming, I probably would have never left!

From the moment you step inside, you will be in awe of the stunning decor and design. Marble staircases and giant chandeliers can be found around every corner and the attention to detail is insane. I especially love the shopping in the lobby that even includes Gucci (save your pennies)! If shopping isn't your thing, head to the 4th level and take a dip in the serene rooftop pool. The pool features a retractable roof and a terrace with huge umbrellas to keep you cool even in the brutal Charleston heat.

The Belmond Charleston Place is conveniently located right in the center of downtown Charleston. The hotel is right off of Meeting Street and is just one block from all of the shopping and dining on King Street. For you all you girls who love to shop, the Anthropologie is only about a five minute walk!

I truly cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Belmond Charleston Place. Everything from the impeccable service to the stunning decor made it one of my best hotel experiences to date. I am already dreaming of my next visit to the Holy City, Robe clad and sipping champagne of course!
